A little shook up..
Nov. 9th, 2006 12:12 pmJust woke up around 11, thinking at first that Henri had come back home from class for some reason and sat on the bed, then realising that I was startled awake because the bed was shaking.
Of the several very small quakes that appear to have occurred this morning, according to the USGS Earthquake site, one was in Cupertino, a stone's throw from where we are. Another was much stronger and farther north, and another small one was south of San Jose. I certainly don't need any caffiene this morning, as I'm already good and jittery. No damage to report, thankfully.
Weaving class went well yesterday, I almost got all the heddles threaded after several hours of prep and rolling the cotton warp threads onto the loom. I definitely understand a lot better why Henri's mom complained that the loom takes so long to set up. I'm off now to work on it some more, and then tonight I think we're going to attempt to go see Shortbus at the Aquarius.
Later.
-Me.
