Weekending..

As weekends go, this one has been pretty decent. Friday night exhausted me, but we all went to see Batman anyway, which I do not remember seeing when it first came out, so J got to enjoy me twitching while they destroyed paintings. *grin*
Despite the good company and fun, I was in a particularly bad mood, be it hormonal or otherwise, and I ended up writing a bit before curling up in the papasan chair and falling asleep.

Saturday was nice and low-key, stayed in bed until noon and hung out with people watching Coupling. It was good to see Mer and Matt and A's mom this weekend.. all people who are far away most of the time. Went into Northampton later to meet people for dinner at Fitzwilly's, which was great, and ran into Jesse at Sweeties.. there may be a Jyhad game going when I get out of work tonight, which makes me very happy.. haven't played in the longest time, and I have old cards to show them, thanks to Brian. We'll see what happens.
Came back to my place and hung out with a bunch of people here into the wee hours. Read through the first issue of Strangers In Paradise with J.. it was nice to watch his reactions to the twists and turns the story takes. Fell asleep in there somewhere while listening to Bill Hicks.

I'm feeling a bit better now, about to run off to the shower and get ready for work. The week ahead looks mostly normal, and I'll get to venture out to Boston again on Thursday, which makes me quite happy. *bounce bounce*
