Turning the wheel..
Oct. 10th, 2008 02:36 amThe long-awaited "lost" fleece finally arrived this morning, much to my delight. It's absolutely beautiful, super soft and fine, and I've been enjoying spinning it up for the past hour or so as my reward for finishing the skein I was in the middle of when it arrived.
Several more yarns went up onto my Etsy store in the past day or so, and more will go up as I get more photographs taken. The goal is to get every yarn not already on consignment up onto Etsy, and after that's done I can set and price and tag the yarns I've been making in the past few weeks.
I'm crossing my fingers and praying to the goddesses of abundance for some yarn sales, as some income would be peachy. I'll probably be looking for some variety of part-time employment soon as well, we'll see what I can find in the area.
I remain deeply grateful for the loving support my friends and family have offered me as I transition into this new phase of emergence.
Later.
