*cough*
My lungs are still trying valiantly to evict the cold that's moved in. I'm rather sick of it, but it seems to really like hanging out with me. :P
Played a really long and good game of Jyhad last night, complete with blanket and pile of tissues. Drove to my parents' house afterwards and crashed so I could get up in decent time for my interview this morning. Wild Oats in W. Hartford seems to have enough hours for me, and thinks that I'm promotable.. we'll see if they can start me at the salary I'm currently enjoying. I'm not leaving the co-op until after my 2 year point, anyway. I should hear back from them within a week or so. As it is, I still sound horrible, and I'm coughing enough that the co-op doesn't really want me back yet. So.. I'll sit here with another pot of tea and maybe finish another few chapters in Goblet of Fire. :)
My landlady's showing my apartment to someone this evening, so I can't quite go to bed yet. Funny.. part of me wants to stay here, but I need to go. I cannot express how much I am looking forward to having my own space again. No more having to share the stereo or compete for my tv, come home to a dirty kitchen or a completely trashed kitchen table. Don't get me wrong..I love the guys that have been staying with me, but I have slightly different aesthetic desires regarding my space. :) And only slightly, really. My birds throw out amazing amounts of dust and noise, and I'm far from organized, but I do have a thing about the kitchen. :P
The brown rice on the stove is almost done.. I'm going to make some burritos for myself and curl up with my new fuzzy blanket and a book.
Later.
