Monkeys wielding wrenches..

Got the car serviced yesterday and drop spindled a bit of silk while I hung out and waited most of the afternoon, and I thought everything was ready to go for today's morning DMV attempt.. and then I realise that I can't find the title. I start looking around, semi-frantically, every pile of papers overturned, the folder I last saw it in empty, and it was not to be found in the car. There goes getting anything more done. I'm requesting a duplicate, but that will take a week or two and it cost us 25 bucks. Grrrr. What's killing me is that I just had the darn thing when I went to get our new auto insurance policy, so it has to be around here somewhere... but I've looked everywhere short of the oven.

In the meanwhile, I'm experimenting with vegetables in the crock pot for dinner.. we'll see how it comes out.
