Pause to reflect amidst the boxes..
Jul. 15th, 2006 07:47 pmI managed to avoid distraction long enough to have gotten 16 boxes packed thus far. I'm mostly done with all the kitchen stuff, and I'm just starting on packing up my bookshelves now. Feels good to have something substantial accomplished, since I have no idea how long it's going to take to get the storage area in CT sorted, reorganized and repacked. Hopefully, we'll be on our way to pack things up in Boston by the 26th, but we're also losing the weekend time to family activities.
At the very least, I want to be sure that there's less than a week's worth of packing to be done here by the time I leave on Monday afternoon.
J&A just went out to the theatre, so I'm going to put on a record and turn it up, even if the birds start screaming to match the noise levels. Then I'm going to power through packing one more box, finish this glass of wine and chill for an hour or so before starting on another one.
Later.
-Me.
