Green fairies are prettiest..
Feb. 27th, 2006 11:57 pmWell, as our luck would have it, Trent falls ill, so no concert for us tonight. It's been postponed until the 10th, and hopefully I'll find a way to get out of work. This shift was hard enough to work out, and all for naught. Instead of pouting, I'll hope he's feeling better in time for the rescheduled show.
The night was quite pleasant, though.. Chris still came up from CT to hang out with us in Northampton. We watched a bit of the Mardi Gras parades in New Orleans, thanks to the nifitiness of webcams, and then after the glorious tastiness that is a portobella mushroom burrito from Bueno, we watched a great Henry Rollins spoken word DVD I hadn't seen yet. Good times. Guacamole. Contented belly. Mmm.
Sometimes avocados really can make everything better for me.
I work tomorrow night, then head down to poke my head in at Haven, and back to work on Wednesday night. This coming week looks busy, as well as the weekend, and I'm hoping it all goes very smoothly.
I'm going to write for a while, and then head to bed.
