well, I don't see any snow yet...
Feb. 10th, 2005 04:31 amNot a flake. *shrug*
The co-op was insane tonight, people buying groceries against the big storm on its way. As if living in southern VT hasn't taught them to keep a well-stocked cupboard by now. At least I have Thursday off. It's certainly nice to have my legs back again, figuratively speaking, of course. My exercise habits need to improve, if running around the house barefoot and putting most of my step on the ball of my foot was enough to pull muscles in both calves.
Hung out in Keene after work with the one and only Dex. Enjoyed margaritas, film talk and weird tales. I need to find people to get copies of his 16mm student film; Samurai Office, when it comes out in a few months.
Drove home in the rain and got stuff done. Some 8 pages of writing, a start at reorganizing some of the clutter in my room, like getting laundry put away. Mundanity.
Now to fix myself a snack, read a bit, then snuggle into my flannely pile of blankets. Mmmm... blankets.
Later.
-Me.
----------------------------
Do you think I know what I'm doing?
That for one breath or half-breath I belong to myself?
As much as a pen knows what it's writing,
or the ball can guess where it's going next.
