Home adjustments.. improvements are relative.

So to illustrate my horribly boring evening, instead of going to visit my good buddy Dex over at Keene State I have chosen to be here, in front of the computer, while Tim is down at the studio spinning his show.. and I'm putting sheets of plastic up on my windows to keep out the evil, evil cold. I'm even holding a tiny blowdryer my landlord loaned me. The sheer domestic horror of it all overwhelms me. :)
At least I have chai. And some leftover tofu casserole-type substance from the deli this evening. And my computer. And very cold fingers. *brr*
I have some anime discs to watch this evening so I may bring them back to FR tomorrow.. and some reading to work on. Time to be more useful than surfing.

Hatred of Spam...

I love the Monty Python sketch, but I hate the email crap slung about like so much meaty hash. :P There are 400+ crap emails that I don't really want to download at all in my so-called business account. Grr.
Since my mother just got DSL for my sister at the CT homestead, the Earthlink account that I've had since 1995 has unfortunately got to go, since I'm not paying for that account on top of my own. So, I've just spent the past 2 hours downloading a few hundred old emails from all the accounts, and forwarding address changes and the like. Nice to have everything all cleared out.

Had a nice night.. my friends Chris and Lise came by and hung out for a bit after I got out of work. And a fun time with my Mythic Tarot was had by all... :)
Being that it is now after 2 am, and I need to be up for class in the morning, which looms all too close on the horizon, I shall wrap up my internet nonsense and go try for some sleep. My fingers are freezing from typing for the past hour, and I'm hoping that my bed will welcome me home, like a patient lover...all fuzzy and warm.. mmm..
