I just found out that you died last night, Eric. Suddenly came down with pancreatitis, into the hospital and an induced coma, and 2 weeks later, gone. You were what, 25?

I have no idea how to process this. I just saw you when I went home to visit with family over the holiday, you finally had the time to come to the party, since you'd missed the last one, and I was so glad we got a chance to hang out. I'd been so glad to hear that you were enjoying the machining classes you'd been taking, looking forward to a new job.. no idea that you'd be gone within a few months.

Next time I go to karaoke night, my first song is for you. Be at peace, my dear heart. You will be deeply missed.

yeah. I talked to his mom last night. been up most of the night. Call me this afternoon, if you can, we'll talk. I just talked to Scott this morning, and I called Dave about it last night.
