Lightning and a rumbly tummy
Dec. 30th, 2006 02:16 pmDad's tests came back negative, and though I spoke to him the other night only briefly, he was at least out of bed. Hopefully now he won't push himself even harder to make up for the 2 weeks he's missed. My mother and sister both think he's suffering from depression, which makes a lot of sense, but doesn't explain the intense joint pain. Hopefully, at the very least, he'll begin to regain some of the weight he's lost. *sigh*
Been enjoying hanging out in NO with Henri's family, especially now that I've gotten some good sleep these past few nights. All here are preparing for the New Year's party they give each year, so today the rugs get rolled up and the shopping gets done, even in the rain and thunder. Weather here's been comfy and cool, spookily like it was in New England during our visit. No snow yet, even in Vermont, which is just weird. Mmmm.. climate change.
Off to get some breakfast and help out.
Later.
