The flight to CT went well, even with the 3 hour layover in Philly. Tired as hell last night, but sleep has been obtained, as well as tea and breakfast, so I'm at least functional. It is so much goodness to be home, even to have Murphy making the screechy noise of death at me.
I've missed my feathery ones so much. My mom surprised me by moving my old bed and it's twin into my sister's old room for us to sleep on, and I even get to sleep in my own old room on the 24th. Hurrah!

Dad had the hot tub ready for us when we got in, which was so many degrees of awesome. We shall go out with my mom later, but for now, we're just chilling with the birds, and I've installed iTunes onto my old Lime iMac so mom can use it as a music machine.

Later.

Glad to hear you got safely home, and that things seem to be going well.

Do you expect your mom will use iTunes for Internet radio, or for listening to CDs she's loaded? Does your home have high-speed Internet?

Birds? What kind?

You might want to look into XPostFacto -- I used it to let me upgrade my old PowerBook G3 from Mac OS 9.2 to Mac OS X.4 -- it works great (though slowly, of course)!

Enjoys!
