Yarn everywhere..
Dec. 4th, 2006 09:16 pmJust read this article; Supporting Boys Or Girls When The Line Isn't Clear, from the New York Times. Wanted to post a link here, noting that it seems to me like a step in the right direction. So many transgendered and mixed gender identity people have suffered through excruciatingly painful childhoods, and if allowing children the space to be who they are during their development helps to prevent more teen suicides, I'm all for it. Not to mention the culture of tolerance that is encouraged when we are taught to respect each others' differences, especially when people don't conform to societal norms.
As promised, here's a picture of the futon, covered in yarn in various stages of becoming other things.

Off to make dinner and get more knitting and crocheting and ball winding done.
Later.
-Me.
