Steal my candy, will you... *tosses the CD at
In other news, I am finally making the Broccoli bake tonight, since the ripe avocados demanded I make dip on Tuesday evening. I had no choice but to comply. Last night I was just too lazy, so I made salad and we had tasty cheeses instead.
The concert was awesome. Roger was in fine form, and played an opening set of all the hits, sort of grouping them by album. The entire second set was Dark Side, and he encored with Comfortably Numb, which was great, even after such a long set. The giant inflatable pig reminding us to Impeach Bush was definitely a highlight of the night.
Yesterday afternoon we went to visit the studio where I hope to be taking classes soon, and wandered around the shopping center buying strange and useful things like a small microwave for the convenient reheating of tea and other leftovers, and a wine rack for all the bottles of wine H's dad just got us, and knitting stuff for me, and a carpet sweeper. Hurrah! We also managed to find a new bottle of Absente, even though the place we looked was out of Pernod. Both are tasty and louche nicely.
My new spindle arrived this afternoon, and it's gorgeous and very lightweight. I eagerly await a box of roving in the mail...
Time for choppin' broccoli!
Later.

Date: 2006-10-13 03:50 am (UTC)At least the floppy might still be readable. A scratched CD isn't good for much, and it makes a slippery coaster. :)
I know well enough to be wary of taking candy from strange men. ;P
