artemis42 | I like cooking food.. it's fun!

Thanks to a good haul of leftovers from the produce department, I am making an enormous pot of broccoli cheese soup tonight. Leeks, red onions, 3 different kinds of cheese, too. :) If I can still stand to chop things, I might make an apple crisp.. or I might leave it until tomorrow after I leave work. My good buddy Dex and some other folk may come by later in the evening for movies and whatnot, so if I start it when I get home, it should be piping hot and yummy by the time they arrive.

Well.. an hour later, the soup has come out quite well. *smiles!*
I'm going to keep updating things and enjoy a bowl of broc before heading off to slumberland amidst my big pile of blankets. It's starting to get cold up here again.. I have to winterize the windows before it gets too much colder, or I'll be losing more heat than anything else.

At least I get to sleep in until noonish tomorrow.. class was canceled and I don't have a car even if I wanted to go to Amherst... or anywhere else for that matter. :P
