The Nine Inch Nails concert on Friday night was among the best shows I've been to in recent memory. I don't know if they were trying to make it up to us for missing the initial concert date, but they played really well, and it was a loooong set. Other than always being right next to where the pit broke out, the experience was wonderful, and the production has only gotten better. I was bummed to find that J had been a side-of-pit casualty, but it was really great that he and A were there. Went to the diner afterwards in a Trent Reznor-induced state of bliss and grinned over a plate of waffle fries, then came back to the house and watched the Bill Hicks disc with Morgan and Chris.

Got up early on Saturday and went out to Boston, where I promptly took a nap. :P
Henri and I met up with James and wandered around the Charles River conservation area for about 5 miles, then met up with friends and had pizza, which was extremely satisfying after a good long walk. My legs definitely were feeling it, but I think that was more to do with the fact that the shoes I was wearing are ancient and worn thin.
H and I then headed back to the apartment for ice cream and a good game of Jyhad.

Sunday involved me not wanting to get out of bed at all, thanks to the moon tide coming in, but with enough ibuprofen in me, we went out to lunch, and then out to REI, where I acquired a kickass new pair of boots, and some of the comfiest socks in the universe. After heading back and getting the car, we journeyed to a friend's 33 1/3 birthday gathering, which was a great time, and I got to meet some pretty cool people. The geekier the conversation, the happier I am.
We decided to go out and see Brokeback Mountain at the last minute on Sunday night, which was great all over again. On the way home, we stopped for some Chinese munchables and I discovered why a scorpion bowl is appropriately named. *grin*

Dragged myself out of bed and headed to work this afternoon, and the weather probably kept people at home, as the co-op was very quiet.

The week ahead of me looks busy, more moving of things to get done, phone calls and paperwork to shuffle around, meetings at work, a vet appointment for my feathery ones, and such. Good to have a relaxing few days inbetween so much chaos.

Time for me to get some more work done in here, then go to sleep.

Later.
