Dec. 12th, 2005 04:03 amMmm.. tired. A good tired, but also a to the bone sort. Blankets are inviting.
Home from chilling after work a bit in Amherst, finally ready for an appointment I need to keep with my bed. Late, as usual. :P
Spent the weekend in Cambridge, amused at tiny synchronicities popping up everywhere. Winding up on the same subway train and bus as a guy with really long red hair I'd noticed crossing the street on Friday night as I was arriving in the neighborhood. Henri and I took a walk, twittering about all manner of niftiness, stared happily at some ducks, wandered around the Museum of Fine Art and got to gaze upon so many different awesome things. Mmm.. Egyptian sarcophagi. Dinner and Guinness out with friends on Saturday night made it a really full day, and so nice. Really good potato leek soup, which makes me glad I'll make a huge pot of mine for my February gathering, as usual.
I did not want to get up today, but work went alright overall in the end, despite the bits of mayhem, and I made fantastic time on the way back.. finally found the faster route and shaved off a half hour.
This week begins the season of busyness. Only one day off, and I'm going to use it to head for CT to chill with my sister for her birthday this coming weekend. Lots of scrambling to get my projects finished soon.. :)
Must sleep before my eyes fall out. More again sometime soon.
Later.

| Banished Scholar You scored 9 privilegedbirth, 37 scholarliness, 10 ruthlessness, and 41 outspokenness! |
You're lucky to be banished! Most guys like you end up with their entrails on the front steps. You rose from your lowly birth with learning, but you forgot to keep your mouth shut. Nobody likes a party pooper, and pointing out the foibles of Roman society did not earn you that nice cushy position tutoring the Senator's feeble-minded offspring. It is suggested that you never set foot in Rome again, but I hear things are much milder and more tolerant down in Judea, so maybe make your way over there. Cheers! |
