Fangs and makeup..

artemis42Well, the attempt at being a werewolf on Tuesday was a mixed bag, with a few startled customers, a few who laughed, and a few who thought I was a cat, for some unknown reason. At least the pictures came out alright earlier this evening.. I was dying to get out of the makeup as soon as I walked in the door, having already had it on since 10:30 in the morning.
The sleet and snow falling in Vermont in the afternoon and evening made for a slow ride home from work, and canceled any plans I'd entertained about going to Northampton to see J&A or to Haven to see the Cruxshadows play, as I just wasn't willing to drive any more. Hung out at home instead, laughing with housemates, playing with Murphy and making myself another bean, rice and cheese concoction for dinner. A good night for catching up on neglected things, all around. Finalised the last threads of my plans for the weekend, which looks hellishly busy, but I'll likely be entirely too busy smiling to notice.
Sleep drags at my heels, and my bed is comfy. Time to retire for the evening. Tomorrow, or whatever day it is when I get up again.. the pirate costume comes out for its first spin of the week.
