Out the door thoughts..

I should be getting ready to go to work, but here I am at the computer again. *shrug*
I'm glad the week is halfway over. Going out tonight to have a drink with Dex in Keene, the parts that aren't underwater, anyway.. and then on Thursday, I'll be in CT in the evening to see a play at Hartford Stage with my mom and have our catch-up time. Well, usually it's "grouse at the dumb nerd-girl about financial matters" time, but I try to let that slide by in favor of conversation that actually matters. Once she's gotten the fact that I'm an idiot out of the way, we often have a lovely time.
Friday I'll drive back up here, put laundry away and feed birds, then head for work, and right back home. Ok, maybe only 2 minutes. My patience and calm is being undermined by a tiny excited voice that keeps bouncing up and down in my chest. Saturday we go to Fright Fest and ride the coasters in the dark, and hit J with birthday things. Should be an amazing weekend, and I'm looking forward to it.
Namaste.

"And when I tell you that I'll always
be around, I'll be around.
And when I tell you that it's true love that we've found,
that's what we've found.
The bad times and the good,
the worries and the fights,
a man needs a lover that can see him through the night."
