Yoga is Love..
Oct. 25th, 2008 06:59 pmToday's workshop was kind of relaxed and intense all at once. Yoga for an hour, then into foundational pose building and assists, theory and practice. My moment for the day was going from a half shoulder stand into plow pose and actually getting my feet all the way down to the floor in plow.
Tired, but happy about it.
I intend to make myself some dinner and then head back out to feed the amazing menagerie in Bristol.
Later.
-Me.

We Three
My love wanders the rooms, melodious,
flute notes, plucked wires,
full of a wine the Magi drank
on the way to Bethlehem.
We are three. The moon comes
from its quiet corner, puts a pitcher of water
down in the center. The circle
of surface flames.
One of us kneels to kiss the threshold.
One drinks, with wine-flames playing over his face.
One watches the gathering,
and says to any cold onlookers,
This dance is the joy of existence.
