artemis42Today has been intense and awesome. Henri passed his proposal defense, and is an official PhD candidate, and we went out for Thai food to celebrate. I'm so pleased that after all the hard work he's put in, he received fantastic feedback.
I finished the handspun alpaca scarf that I've been working on, and I'm really pleased with the results.
There's something very satisfying about being able to make something nifty out of a pile of fiber.
Voting today in local elections definitely whetted my appetite to read that Obama has claimed the Democratic nomination. The hopes and dreams of the country swell along with the excitement, and for once, I pray we can all stand together against those who would sacrifice freedom for the sake of profit, war and power, be it candidate, pundit or local killjoy.
Keep the faith in your dreams for how awesome this country can be, and we can make those dreams more real together. Don't let anyone kill your faith in our power to create change.
