Watch How God Opens the Door

I'm grateful for whatever God gives me.
All my labor and efforts are dedicated to him.

Whatever you've done in the past,
I pray God gives you his blessing
and I pray that he will bless you
for the future as well.

Free the soul and the heart
from the thoughts of the mind.
You're the only one who can do that.

If soul and heart were content with reason,
why do they run to music
and search for ecstasy?

Since God wants you to be pure and clean,
O heart, you'll just look stupid
if you try to act smart.

You keep on devouring yourself
like a dung beetle in the mud.
You might as well stay there.
It's what you deserve.

Know this well:
Everyone, including the sultan,
is in deep trouble.
Love hits everybody.

Be silent. Watch how God opens the door.
Why are you lost in the thought
that closes the door?
