Potentiality..
Dec. 11th, 2007 03:50 amWe got the Schacht 4-harness folding loom here just fine on Sunday, and I am very excited to begin making awesome things on it come January. Between Hannelore's instruction at the shop and getting my hands on some weaving books, I should get the hang of it again pretty fast.

Even though it takes up exactly as much space as the boxes that were there earlier in the week, one can see the floor through the loom, and it's on casters, making the closet still accessible, which is sweet.
The Sunday Tori Amos show was spectacular. Clyde opened, an embodiment of Persephone, and only a few of the same songs that were played on Friday came up again throughout the course of the show. I love that changing the opening 'character' enables her to create a completely different show every night.
After Henri's last Lab meeting of the quarter on Monday, we got the iPod battery replaced while we waited at the specialty We-fix-Macs store, which will enable me to actually listen to it during our upcoming flights for longer than 2 hours without plugging it in. Yaay!
I managed to get some preliminary packing done tonight, about half of the presents wrapped, and it feels good to be crossing things off the lists.
Off to sleep now, that I may be mildly functional tomorrow.
Later.
-Me.
