Alllmmost there...
Aug. 9th, 2006 11:38 pmEdging closer and closer to 100 boxes with each one I seal up and label, we've almost finished with buttoning up the last bits here in Northampton. We'll leave in another hour or so and head back to Cambridge to sleep a little bit, and meet the moving people when they arrive at ... 7:30 am. Ecch.
As soon as we're done loading, we'll stop and hug Sam on our way back to Northampton, then load all my stuff into the car, Morgan will come up and get the stuff that's going down to CT from here, and as soon as they're done loading the truck, we'll head down to CT to pet the birds, hug my family, nab some stuff from Chris and head out on the road to Chicago, where Tim and Caro await us for a day of rest and hanging out.
We have to be in Palo Alto to meet the truck by the 18th, so we'll have some hard driving ahead when we leave Chicago, but I'm so used to highway driving, I'm not really too concerned about it. We'll probably find interesting places along the way to crash, and I'll have plenty of tales to post with as soon as I next have internet access.
