...and life goes on...
Mar. 6th, 2006 01:12 amWell, the major aspects of my move to Northampton are now complete, and the rest of the next week or so will involve many stops in Sunderland on my way to and from Vermont to get all the rest of my stuff, and do some thorough cleaning. My arms, legs, back and most of the rest of me are very sore, but I suppose this is a good thing, and will get me back some of the muscle mass I've lost over the past year or so. *grin*
My thanks and enormous hugs to J&A, Sam, and K&J for all their help. Couldn't have done much without you this weekend.
I'd planned on going to CT to pick up/drop off some stuff today, but I opted to listen to my body's protestations and just make a box run with my car, and a trip with Allison to get the birds moved down here. Watched the Oscars over grilled cheese and soup, and now I'm going to go to sleep, being more than completely overwhelmed.
I still don't know where I'll be in the fall, but as long as it's with Henri, I think it will all work out just fine. San Francisco or North Carolina, either way.. it's not going to be New England.. but I know that I'll always consider this home, and I hope we'll get to come back in a few years.
Later.
