An amusing weekend, thus far.
Jul. 3rd, 2005 02:15 pmGot everyone to the airport in a timely manner on Saturday, then spent the rest of the evening with my family. Stopped in at Buried Under to say hi, had snacks with my mom, went out for a motorcycle ride with my dad, went to see the fireworks at MCC, something I haven't done in many long years, and got dragged by my parents to go see Madagascar.
Official rewiew: Unless you have small children, or are one secretly, don't bother. Yeah, it was cute in spots.. especially the Connecticut references, but I'd much rather have spent meaningful catch-up and chat time with them. C'est la vie.
They went to sleep, I stayed up eating cherries with my sister and watching Iron Chef.
Cats have been fed, stuff checked up on, now I go home to change and feed my birds, then scoot to work.
I still have no idea what's going on tomorrow.. but I'm sure I'll figure something out.
