Why can't cars just frikkin' work?

Grrrr... After driving to class Wed. morning, I dropped my vehicle off at the service station. They wanted to look it over again, and see if running the car might help loosen up some of the crud in my coolant system. Well, I found out this evening that my head is cracked and needs replacing, as does my heating coil. Some jackass puts something called Stop Leak into my car without my knowledge or permission, and now I'm staring down 1200 bucks in car repairs. *extreme anger*
So, I've gotten a ride from a co-worker down to UMASS, and I'm stuck here until Saturday. Morgan's coming up for the Vampire:The Eternal Struggle pre-release tournament for the new set, and I should be able to get something worked out from that point.. I just can't miss any more classes. We'll see how long it takes to get my car back and in good shape.. then I can go after the putz that did the damage.
Have I mentioned how much the dorms at UMASS really suck? You're paying like 500 bucks a month for a bed in a concrete slab. No privacy, and a hall full of drunken college kids... ok... I guess some people might like that last part.. but I'm not really one of them at this point. :P
I have to finish reading for class and get to bed before I collapse.
