Jun. 26th, 2002 02:11 amSo, I'm a lazy bastard and I don't update my LJ on a regular basis. *apologises and moves on with entry.*
I've been up for way too long, and I'm just nonsensical enough now to write either a really cool entry or a completely idiotic one, so here goes.
I begin training as a Head Cashier at the co-op this coming Monday, which is cool, and means that I might be able to make my rent on time next month. That's usually a good idea, I like having a place to live. Supporting myself: good. Calling mom and dad to whimper about money: bad. :)
Started watching Cowboy Bebop tonight... I like it. Got through the first two episodes, and the second one reminded me of the Bruce Lee meets Kareem Abdul-Jamar moment in ... Game Of Death? It helps, of course, that Spike loves Bruce Lee... :)
Now I just have to get around to finishing all the Rurouni Kenshin discs I've borrowed. If only I didn't have to work, I could sit around and watch anime on my computer... darn need of money. *shrug*
There's still a big list around of all the films I need to see. I've got full evenings from here into oblivion, and that's when I'm not hanging out with my friends. :)
Rrrrgh. Need new air filters. There's too much bird dander everywhere, and the filters are running constantly to try to keep those levels down. I love Murphy, but he's a noisy dust factory. :P
Time for me to turn around and go to sleep. I would have the day off tomorrow, but I'm subbing in the afternoon, and I've actually got to get up in the morning to get stuff accomplished before I go to work. This weekend promises to be fun, might be playing paintball with the geek crew, and I'll be going to a convention in New Haven this sunday night to hear Ralph Nader and Jello Biafra speak... I'm really looking forward to that. I might be a little crazy right now, but at least things with me are never boring. :)
