Grr. The computer at rfb wasn't really working well with the internet during my show this weekend, and so J called and explained his experiences in Miami in lieu of my reading an awesome article titled "Why I Hate Thanksgiving". I'll have to print it out and read it next week, just because I'm full of spitey goodness.
The newest of the Eddie Izzard releases, Circle, was rented from First Run last night.. OMG!! Ok, I don't really remember all of it since I'd had 2 Maudite ales and a glass of Shiraz and I was completely drunk.. first time in a long time, and probably the last for a while, I hope... but what I was awake enough to catch was absolutely amazing. He hee..
Left work a little early today thanks to a bout of nausea. I don't feel hungover at all... just ill. Yes, I can tell the difference. Sort of.
I've got another week to myself, in some sense, since J won't be back until this coming weekend. Of course, I have a final paper to write for Wed. and no research done yet, but these are minor details. All will work out eventually.. or just explode in a fireball of hatred and doom. We'll see which one comes first.

Time for dinner and bed. Maybe a splash of Utena first, I haven't decided yet.

Funny to find this by sheer coincidence and Glenn's random bored LJ searches. You've been friended and I see you've already friended me. Good deal!

You may also want to friend corruption_man and stop by there when we're on the air. We have a whole host of Netlings that chat while we're on the air, and we use it for concert related stuff. You'd probably like our listeners -- we certainly do -- and you could pimp your own rfbness there as well.

RE: the computer, I haven't had time to figure out what's wrong with the Net connection. Methinks its a share/port issue and I can most likely beat it into submission given a few momemnts with it, alone in a dark room with me and a crowbar. In the meantime, if you have problems with the Net connection reboot and log onto the DJ partition (the one that's normally used for non-administrative purposes). That usually fixes the problem...
