artemis42The party went splendidly, if stressfully, but I believe everyone had a good time, and that's what matters to me. Most of it for me was spent checking in with Henri's parents, since I wanted to make sure they were getting on well and whatnot, but I did still get to check in with family and friends, and despite the early morning nausea, I managed to have a good day myself.
Drove out to Boston on Sunday night, had some Thai food, played Jyhad and collapsed in a pile of sleep.
Just got back from driving Sam out to the trailhead for the AT/Long Trail in North Adams, and it was a really lovely drive through the mountains and back. Tonight, I finish updating my lists for this week, and modify my packing schedule to work with the plans with family for the next 2 weeks, but I'm still confident we can get it all done by the 8th of August. We leave on the 10th, but I'm still going to shoot for being done by the 8th, so we can chill for a day before we have to go.
This week finds me packing in Northampton, running errands and sorting through my accumulated crap.
Time to get some dinner in my tired body.
