artemis42In the midst of a stressful evening, I'm glad for the Sam, who drags me out to Haven to decompress. Sometimes movement is good for the soul. *tired smile*
Tomorrow brings a flurry of activity, a vet appointment and a bunch more phone calls before I head to work. I'll stay in Vermont and save some gas money on Wednesday night, and my sister has graciously offered to come up again on Thursday evening and help me get as much done as possible.
Friday brings an afternoon at work and an evening spent with beloveds in a space we continuously create anew. I have to remember Duke Leto's words, from the 1984 Dune film: "Without change, something sleeps inside us, and seldom awakens. The sleeper must awaken."
Change is certainly scary for me at times, but it does jar things inside us that help us to grow. I need to try to use the approaching spring to rejuvenate what is here in the core, and strengthen the base I stand on. This move to Noho is part of that, and a change of routines and spaces, but ultimately a place for me to gather myself together and reorganize my resources, both internally, and with the upcoming move this fall.
Hopefully it will all come together exactly as it needs to.
