Downloading bits of brain before sleep..

artemis42Spent Tuesday night out in Boston with Henri, and there was much snuggling and tea and mango ice cream. Bronchitis is no fun, and I'm at least glad that there are medicinal tea supplies there with him. He brought home the coolest Mardi Gras beads ever, red and black with little monster heads and a set with a skull wearing a jester hat with cool blinky LED eyes, and I wore them to work on Wednesday night, to much amusement.
Got more stuff loaded up after work tonight, then unloaded, and now I finish unpacking things and go to sleep, as I work early on Thursdays. Morgan's coming up to help me get more stuff moved, and I'm crossing my fingers and praying that the financial institution gods see fit to bless me with the loan I've applied for, so I can discharge some of my financial obligations on my own, and as quickly as possible. I'm extremely grateful for the help given me by friends and loved ones, but there's a part of me that really wants to do this myself. I made this mess, regardless of how it got this way, and I have to clean it up, no matter how long it takes. I still have a small amount of pride in my ability to take care of my own problems, and I know enough to ask for help when I need it, but I'd prefer to wait until I get the answer from the bank either way. Hopefully it will be forthcoming soon, and I'll do the best I can in the meanwhile.. keep getting up, going to work, and paying things down bit by bit.
There are good things to look forward to, as well. Day off on Friday, hopefully I'll be able to get the car inspected and Emerald's beak looked at as well. Then NIN in the evening, and out to Boston for Saturday, back on Sunday to have a room decorating session with people, and then back out to bring H home, and then off to work on Monday, and a whole new week.
I just have to keep my head up and keep trying, and all will work out. I must not fear.. fear is the mind-killer....
