Dreamstuff leaks out...

artemis42Odd wannabe lighting designer dreams this morning.. I was working at another haunted house-style attraction, but the main area could accommodate larger groups, and there was a larger space to light. The dream involved rehearsals, and my going through all the different transitions and lighting changes with the other tech staff, and then a crowd came in suddenly and unexpectedly, so the actors launched into the show from the cue we were on as people milled about uneasily. I kept being unhappy with the levels during each cue, and the board I had was a small, 10-channel x/y fader board for some dumb reason, and I was really frustrated with it.
I won't be doing lighting again until June, but it's still funny.
Out the door now to go get my car insured in MA before heading up to work. I'll be in Northampton this evening, then driving out to Cambridge tomorrow morning, hanging out with awesome people, one of whom also did lights.. hmmm... coincidence?
