A good week so far..

Aside from the ridiculous quantities of grinning, I've gotten quite a bit done this week. Wednesday's Victorian-themed costume went over very well, and I wrote through some poetry and prose that I really like. Listened through a few episodes of A Prairie Home Companion these past several nights, and thoroughly enjoyed the October 15th show, and the Scottish band they featured, the Tannahill Weavers.
My alarm never went off on Thursday morning, thanks to a lack of battery backup, so I missed the morning cashier meeting, but I made it up to VT to work on getting some comic books graded and priced for a client during most of the afternoon. There's something thrilling about holding and evaluating a really glossy, crisp copy of a comic from the late 60s, especially in the middle of a pile of stuff that's all over the spectrum, condition-wise.
Came home, played with the birds and made pasta with a portabello mushroom and cream sauce while getting caught up in watching Beauty and The Beast and visiting with J&A briefly as they were on their way home from looking at wedding photos. I'm looking forward to seeing how they came out. Continued hanging out with a housemate and watched Sleepy Hollow.. I just needed to see someone throw a flaming pumpkin at Johnny Depp's head. Mmm.. October.
Tonight I'll head to the co-op for my deli shift, then back home to hang out with J. I'm looking forward to a relatively mellow weekend in anticipation of much running about this coming week. Then I work early on Sunday before heading for the co-op's annual meeting.
On the agenda for the week ahead, there's the Cruxshadows show at Haven on Tuesday, a lecture on horror comics that Steve is doing at BMAC on Thursday evening, my cousin's wedding in Concord, NH on Saturday, work on Sunday, and then I'm off to Boston to see the Dresden Dolls and cuddle with a certain person who gives me the warm fuzzies on a daily basis. *grin*
Later.

that waking comes, we finally understand our dreams.
